It's funny though. The last game I came from had these same problems. It's just what they have to do. The mods don't necessarily personally care, but as this site is accessed by thousands of people a day, at least some of them are young. These young kids have parents and well, some parents just suck. Not like Dood or any of the parents in here. Making another forum would be nice, but there isn't a legit way that the mods could make sure that only the 'mature enough' players were accessing it.

However, well... how many kids go to a forum like this to look for 'adult only' places? And how many go here only to get a PC or ask a noobish question then leave?

It sucks, I know. I've been through this all before. Our best option is what Cym suggested- an IRC channel or if he made a thread in the SFK forum. Both of which could be somewhat exclusive. =\

I am going to break my pledge to not post...

The IRC channel would be best... no competition for guru and no real trail of breadcrumbs of the conversations. I do not want to compete with guru, but I do think you guys have to respect the position the mods are in here... they have to make it a happy place for everyone.

I can get around that... you can build a web page with a java-applet... that would have you using port 80 (unblocked) and the web server connecting to the IRC server for you...

silly firewalls.
